Julian Casablancas in Cerebral Ballzy video

The Strokes frontman Julian Casablancas was filmed in a video for the last Cerebral Ballzy song “City’s Girl”.

Speaking to Rolling Stone, Titus said the clip is a love letter to New York City. “This video was filmed to serve as a time capsule that captured the fleeting beauty and twisted innocence of life in the city. Inspired by some of my favorite movies “No Wave” and “French New Wave”, it was made very running and very funny.

He added: “Jim Jarmusch would be very proud. I would say that Lydia Lunch would be in love with us”. This effort makes it obvious that there is still a small edge in the center of New York City. This familiar chaos chill is still ingrained, at least in Bolly’s motives. Julian Casablancas understood.

Cerebral Balzi will lead the “Monster NME Radar Tour 2013”, which will be joined by “Amazing Snake Heads” (pictured). The tour will start in Cambridge on November 15, and will visit Coventry, Liverpool, Sheffield, Edinburgh, Manchester, London, Brighton, Nottingham, Bristol, Birmingham and Southampton, before finishing in Leeds on November 27. The Boycase and the fat white family will also appear on the selected dates. Boycase will play November 15-21, and the fat white family will play November 22-27.

Cerebral Ballzy will release their second album “Jaded & Faded” by the end of 2013, working on releases with producer Dave Sitek (TV On The Radio, Yeah Yeahs, Beady Eye). The new Domino Records signing with The Amazing Snakeheads has been named by NME as “the most exciting new band in Scotland”.
