Finding Inspiration to Write Songs

No matter what form of writing you do, it is common to face what we fear most—writer’s block. We’ve all been there a time or two, but when it comes, it can put a wrench in major projects.

But not anymore. Find the inspiration you need to get back into writing by following our tips below. And who knows? With our help, you may be able to write the next best hit.

Dig Deep Into Your Past

We all have moments in our lives where we feel deep emotions. Whether it’s sadness, happiness, or love, these experiences are a rich resource to draw inspiration.

So sit down, and close your eyes. From there, try grasping a memory that felt pivotal in your life. A great place to start is a break-up, the feeling of falling in love, or a moment in which you grieved. This process will give you the tools to write a song that is healing for you and others.

But if memory lane is too painful to go down, we recommend listening to stories from different people. That way, you can find solid material without diving into your past.

Clean Your Space

If you’re typically in your room or office, it’s a matter of time before it becomes unorganized. And if the days continue to keep you busy, it’s hard to find a moment to straighten the space. But when it comes to writing music, it is nearly impossible to do it in a place that is a mess. So grab your cleaning supplies and clean out your writing area. By the time you’re done, you’ll feel better, but you’ll also likely write better.

Create A Schedule And Set A Timer

We aren’t pointing fingers, but sometimes it isn’t because you don’t have inspiration—it’s because you aren’t writing.

Break this cycle, and create a schedule that you will follow. Our best advice is to start with a time of day that works for you and set a timer for 20 minutes. Once the timers go off, you can set down your pen and paper and return to your day.

Write A Story

When you write music, you are a writer. But don’t stick with just one form of ths art. Expand your skills and create a short story on paper. Choose a theme that will best align with what you’re feeling at that moment, and if you enjoy the final product, convert  it into a song.

Write In A Different Place

Writing in the same space is a big no-no. For example, imagine eating at home every day for your whole life. The experience (and the food) would turn bland. The same outcome will occur with your music. Don’t keep yourself cooped up in your room or office. Instead, head over to your backyard or the park, and bring your tools. The different scenery will keep your mind fresh and your music. Plus, you might even impress nearby strangers.

Collaborate With Others

There is nothing better than doing what you love with the people you love. And if you have close friends that enjoy music as much as you do, what better way of giving each other feedback on your work than playing music together? Collaborating on a song will provide you with a different approach to writing songs and ultimately make you a better songwriter.

6 Ways To Have The Best Concert Experience

Purchasing tickets to a concert is only half the fun. Because once it’s time to attend, the anticipation of loud crowds and your favorite performers will be well worth the wait. But it can be a challenge to get the most out of your experience if you’ve never been to a concert.

Don’t worry. With our help, you’ll have the tools to enjoy all future events. So let’s take a gander at different ways you can prepare for your upcoming concert.

Bring Friends

There is nothing wrong with going to a concert solo, but sometimes it’s even better when you share the experience with others. So gather your friends and buy tickets together. Once you get to the concert, everyone will be excited to attend. Another advantage is the feeling of not being alone, which overall promotes safety.

Eat A Large Meal Before

If you plan on drinking at the concert, it’s a must to eat before the venue opens. The large meal will keep you satisfied for a handful of hours, and another bonus is you won’t resort to spending more money and eating a low-quality meal. And if you bring friends, it will be a joyous occasion, where you’ll all be discussing how eager you are for the upcoming event.

Pre-Game With Your Favorite Drinks

The alcohol you will buy at a concert will be the same as you can buy at the store. The only difference is the price tag, and by the time you see what they will charge you, you’ll wish you pre-gamed prior!

So head to the store, and buy your favorite items and cups. Then make mixes in the parking lot, or bring them into the venue. But before you put it in your bag, make sure to read the event’s policy on carry-ins.

Don’t Forget About Delta-8

If D8 is legal where you are, then you’re probably acquainted with this cannabinoid. And if you enjoy quality, Hometown Hero Delta 8 gummies are your favorite brand, or if they’re not, they’re about to be.

Take your concert to another level with our Delta 8 gummies. Each product has varying cannabinoid profiles, but one detail remains the same—10 in each pack. Keep them for yourself, or share. Either way, prepare to hear the music in a whole new light.

Get To The Concert Early

Depending on the size of the concert, it might make a difference if you show up early. And if it’s a smaller venue, it will be worth showing up an hour or so before it starts. Otherwise, you might be stuck being far from the stage and have taller concert-goers in front of you. Don’t make this rookie mistake. Plan to come before it starts, so you can get the most out of your ticket and have an experience like no other.

Set The Phone Down

Unless you’re feet away from your favorite performer, putting your videos on social media is pointless. Your followers will likely not watch it, and if they do, it will not sound nearly as good as it did in person.

Instead of being the person to document each song, live in the moment and set down your phone. You paid to be at a concert, so enjoy the performance and avoid the urge to record it.

What is Soundproofing and What Are the Different Ways to Do It?

Soundproofing sound can be a difficult task. Whether you’re soundproofing your home theater area, soundproofing your bedroom to sleep better, or soundproofing a recording studio – there is a lot of information available about sound and how it’s made. This blog post will focus on the basics of soundproofing and what tools you’ll need to do it yourself. We’ll discuss different types of materials for sound blocking as well as some common methods used in construction projects to reduce noise from outside sources.

Please note that this content would have been more interesting if we had provided examples of specific situations where people might want to use soundproofing techniques, but we didn’t think about that when we created these texts!

There are a number of different materials that can be used to soundproof a room, and a little bit of research will help you find the most cost-effective options. Before making your purchase, it is important to think about what exactly you need from the material in order for it to do its job well. The three main areas where noise control needs to occur in any space include airborne sound between rooms or through walls; structure-borne noise such as vibrations from an adjacent unit’s floorboards; impact sounds when objects strike surfaces like footsteps on floors or furniture hitting against another piece of sturdy furniture. If all these elements cannot be soundproofed, the sound will travel through the air and possibly cause an issue.

– Egg cartons are a common sound-absorbing material that can be used to soundproof one room from another or inside of furniture such as cabinets for sound equipment like televisions and stereos (more info: How to Use Egg Cartons for Soundproofing).

– There are several ways you can build your own egg crate sound absorption panels at home with materials bought from any hardware store: hardboard back panel, corrugated fiberglass front panel, heavy-duty staple gun, and staples (to attach fabric), strong scissors (for cutting cardboard), etc.

Egg cartons soundproofing process

• Cut the egg crates down to smaller pieces that can fit into your speaker or sound system. You will need a front and back panel for each of these systems, so measure how big they are before cutting. Make sure you leave yourself an extra inch on all sides just in case!

• Choose fabric material large enough to cover both panels with at least two inches around each side; this is where the staple gun comes in handy again as it attaches cloth quickly without sewing.

• Put sound-absorbing foam inside of the speakers, television cabinets (in between multiple layers), and any other furniture piece such as drawers for storage space if possible. This can add additional sound absorption which will make your soundproofing even more effective.

Egg cartons are an easy way to soundproof one room from another or inside of furniture such as cabinets for sound equipment like televisions and stereos. All you need is the right tools, materials (egg cartons, scissors), and fabric material that can be attached with a staple gun! This will provide sound absorption without spending too much money on items that may not work in every space around the house.

The first step is to measure the inside of the room or space you need to soundproof. Take out a sheet of graph paper and create a single square with one-inch squares. Each square represents an inch, so basically you are going to be drawing a grid on your wall! You can then take measurements from this graph paper that represent how thick each egg carton section needs to be. For example, if you had three spaces between two windows across from each other on either side of a wall, measuring it from floor to ceiling would give your four inches roughly since those windows share a support column in the middle of the wall and therefore split up the space evenly. Draw these measurements onto your eggs cartons along with little drawings indicating where you want the egg cartons to be spaced.

Cut out each section of egg carton and use a staple gun to attach the fabric to either side, making sure not to puncture through all four layers (two egg cartons, two pieces of fabric). The egg carton material will act as soundproofing by absorbing the higher frequencies of noise that tend to cause problems in adjoining rooms.

Make sure you place them facing inward! Attach these sections around your room or space, placing them directly onto walls if possible. You could also purchase thicker foam or fiberglass insulation panels from a home improvement store if you wanted more padding for your floors and ceilings rather than just having a thin layer on walls. If you have a really sensitive ear or are trying to block out a lot of sound, you could place egg cartons all the way up the ceiling and then around the floor so that no noise can escape upwards. This works really well if you have someone in your house who snores loudly!

Using egg cartons is an inexpensive way to soundproof one room from another or inside of cabinets, but there are other effective strategies as well. For instance, you could purchase acoustic foam panels at home improvement stores which will absorb sound better than egg cartons by themselves. If this seems like too much work for you, read on to learn about some other methods…

Top 5 Things Every Rocker Likes

A portrait of a typical rocker depicts a tough guy in a leather jacket with multiple tattoos racing through the streets on a motorcycle, with Led Zeppelin blasting out the speakers. But stereotypes are not always right, and rockers can be interested in different activities: from wagering on slots at Australia’s best Pokie Spins casino to visiting a church study group on Sundays. Rockers are members of our VIP club and regular participants in online tournaments.

Nonetheless, there are things that most rockers have in common. Here are the five main interests of rock lovers.

Blackjack and Poker — Most Popular Game

A rocker’s blood is boiling with adrenaline, so gambling occupies a leading place among their hobbies. There’s no better place than an online casino to experience a little thrill. Blackjack and poker games are usually the favorite kinds since they require not just dumb luck but also some skill and knowledge.

Love of Speed and Motorcycles

“Drive, freedom, and rock and roll!” is today’s rocker’s motto. No wonder that the passion for motorcycles helps rockers to find like-minded people. They have places in every city where they gather on weekends and ride, pulling the views of people around with their cool bikes and extraordinary clothing. They like to leave for the countryside and race at a speed of 100 miles per hour to the dynamic rhythms of their favorite punk rock.

Festivals

Festivals are places where rockers can not only see their favorite band’s performance but also chat with like-minded people in a fun atmosphere. A rock festival is a place where rockers express their solidarity, show loyalty towards their favorite bands, and, most importantly, communicate with each other.

Some of the most famous rock festivals in the world gather hundreds of thousands of fans. Among them, there are Hellfest Open Air Festival, Les Eurockéennes, and Mad Cool Festival.

Not a Day Without Rock Music

The real breakthrough in rock music was made by The Beatles. With the help of their music and unique appearance, they have created something fundamentally new in the music world and in rock music in particular. But it didn’t end there. The musicians experimented with their music, tried to come up with and create something original. They made guitars sound heavier and added keyboards.

Modern rockers have quite extensive musical preferences — from fairly light pop-rock to classic rock-n-roll and punk rock and such “heavy” styles as death metal, grindcore. When do rockers listen to their favorite music? The answer is always — they listen to it at home, driving a bike, and even at work. They just can’t live without music!

Clothes With Meaning

The rockers’ lifestyle has left an imprint on their appearance. On the one hand, it shows some vulgarity and aggressiveness, but on the other hand, it testifies to its practicality and convenience.

The beloved leather biker jacket (any rocker’s indispensable attribute) protects them from the wind when driving fast and prevents some minor injuries. As a rule, it is generously decorated with rivets, spikes, and metal stripes. A rocker’s clothes often depict their favorite bands and performers, so an AC/DC or Motorheads shirt is a must.

The head is covered with a leather cap, a bandana or a motorcycle helmet, which is always slightly open, and sunglasses that cover their eyes.

A silk scarf in white or any other bright color is not the only decor, but it also protects the face from the wind. Any self-respecting rocker has Levi’s jeans or leather pants in his wardrobe. Rockers prefer wearing ordinary boots, boots with raised toes, heavy boots “Grinders,” and sometimes sneakers.

Rings, chains, bracelets, wristbands, belts with various Celtic symbols, and images of animals serve as a kind of adornment. They all wear different haircuts — from long tails and loose hair to “Elvis” hairstyles.

How to Become a Rocker?

It is not enough to just have a leather jacket, heavy boots, a T-shirt with the image of your favorite band, to grow long hair, and wear wristbands. After all, being a rocker means having a unique worldview. Rockers are passionate about their music and their community. They take pride in having their own style and being part of a powerful movement.

A rocker is an intelligent person who knows how to stand their ground and voice a different opinion. Real rockers lack aggressiveness towards other subcultures. On the contrary, they are peaceful and rather positive about the surrounding reality. Even if they have their own philosophical opinion about the imperfection of the world and people, it is only depicted in their lyrics and music. This is how rockers express their rebellion, protest, and ask for a change, but not anything else.

7 Essential Tips for Introverted Musicians

If you are an introvert, your own thoughts and feelings are more important to you than social interaction. Plato said that music is the movement of sound to reach the soul for the education of its virtue. That’s why being an introvert is rather an advantage for a musician. You can delve deep into your soul and your mind and reflect a lot of detail and emotion in your music. You can concentrate fully on your instrument and the sound, making a masterpiece.

It may, however, go well with improvising and expressing yourself in music whether playing alone or with a band. When you have to walk on stage and engage with the public, venue managers, and eventually producers and fans, it can turn into a nightmare. Does it have to be that challenging?

The good news is that if you want to perform in public or promote your music, you can do so.

There is no such thing as a pure introvert or extrovert type, and it’s most likely that it’s your less dominant extrovert part that is pushing you to social interaction. Even if it is frightening, it is possible to complete the task and gain a positive experience. As an introverted musician, you may find it difficult to overcome your discomfort and maintain your inner integrity. Here are some ways to help you.

1. Let It Be

That’s not just an iconic Beatles’ song, it’s a fundamental principle that can help you on your way to public sessions. Acknowledge your introversion. It’s not a flaw by any means but rather a strong point of your creativity. It lets you focus on the main thing—the music. Accept your psychological type and don’t strive to change it. Instead, think about what makes you feel comfortable during or after a conversation.

Allow yourself to be alone for some time before or after you perform in public. If you have to say something between the songs and you don’t know what to say, just smile and say what song will be next. If you don’t feel like partying after your concert, simply inform your bandmates and go home. It’s very important to keep your integrity and replenish your energy after interacting with the public.

2. Start from the Small Venue

Choose modest, friendly venues for your initial public performances. It can be your household first, then, a nearby coffee shop. It’s easier to get started this way, and the atmosphere is frequently more intimate than in larger venues. This advice also applies to forming a band. If you decide that you need a band to perform with you, it’s better to try playing together with a single performer first. Hold a series of rehearsals together, possibly culminating in a public performance. When you’ve gotten to know each other, it’ll be easier to recruit other band members who share your musical tastes.

3. Work It Out

If you like modern pop culture, you probably know this Beyoncé song. Otherwise, listen to “We can work it out” by the Beatles. It teaches that most things can be achieved through practice. That’s true for a public performance, too. There are many things we can’t do well from the start. However, if we start practicing it, we gain experience and skill, and we end up doing it better.

Even if your first public performance was a disaster, don’t give up. Consider how you could improve and give it another shot. You don’t have to be successful this time or next time either. But you will definitely become more confident and, therefore, more relaxed. And then your public session will turn into a success.

4. Wear Headphones when Performing in Public

While many musicians like to wear headphones making or playing music, this accessory can help the introverted performer. Simply put on your headphones and focus on the sound you create—that’ll let you forget how many pairs of eyes are watching your every move and how many ears are listening. Get over-ear headphones with a strong band so that you take them off after the song is over, say a few words (if you wish), and put them back on. This is worth trying if you play alone or with another musician. If you play in a band, probably, this recommendation should be adjusted. Maybe you’ll have to listen to your bandmates’ music or a basic sound line.

5. Go Online

This method of communicating with people is still viable today, thanks to emails and social media messages. Indeed, the social media tool is a lifesaver for introverted music creators, as it allows you to avoid the harassment of live interaction. You can think over your message and amend it if needed. You don’t have to shrink back in anticipation of an immediate response from the person with whom you are talking. There’s no need to respond right away if you receive feedback. Use social media or messengers to contact the producers, venue managers, even your fans, and anyone else with whom you don’t want to speak in person right now. After that, you’ll most likely need to meet them in person, which will be easier to do once the primary contact has been established.

Another way to spread your music to the public is online streaming of your mini-concerts. Establish the camera and the microphone so that your sound is well heard and you are in the center of the camera, and make a performance online. In addition to increasing your popularity, this way you can practice performing in public and feel more relaxed at a live concert.

6. Get to Know Other Introverted Musicians

Maybe you have extrovert friends who share your approach to music, and together you’ll form an amazing band. However, there are times when you just want to hang out with someone who’s your type. Someone who doesn’t rush off to the next adventure and talk nonstop. Someone who doesn’t nag you if you’re sitting still and looking at something outside the window. Someone to whom you don’t have to explain why you don’t have to explain. Another introvert, in other words. By the way, there are many among the musicians. Take a look around and think of the people you’ve met. There’s definitely someone you feel at ease with. You don’t have to work together over your sound, but you’ll most likely enjoy such communication.

7. Take an Extrovert with You

Bring a friend to a social event where you’re supposed to talk to other people, such as jam sessions, festivals, studio negotiations, and so on. Your friend does not have to be a musician, but good social skills will allow him or her to assist you in interacting with others and acting as your representative. Don’t try to convey your task to your friend though, you should be the one doing the talking. Your friend will back you up if something goes wrong (e.g. you begin to stutter, can’t find the words, and so on), that’s all. This way, you will feel more confident and relaxed. It will also be good practice for your social skills.

Best Ways to Listen to Music in the Car

When you go on a long car trip, music is a must-have. It entertains you and keeps you from being lulled by the monotonous scenery. Music also brings comfort if you are used to listening to it at home or while working. It’s important, though, that the sound is clear and close to the original. Otherwise, it can become annoying.

For quality sound, you must have all the components of your audio system—not necessarily the best and the most expensive ones (though that would be an ideal solution). They should match each other in terms of output, voltage, capacity. You’ll probably be disappointed if you install the best under seat subwoofer available on the market and pair it with mediocre car speakers or listen to an MP3 player connected via an AUX cable. In order to get the most of your cool sub, you’ll need to have the entire output clear and strong, that’s why it’s necessary to balance your system by its capacity and sound quality.

Let’s take a look at all of the options for organizing high-quality audio in your vehicle. Read below about speakers, sources, and connection options.

Use Your Car Speaker System

Almost every car model has a built-in sound system. If you’re not an audiophile, this system will probably be enough for your needs. You can listen to the radio, a playlist on your smartphone, or any other audio transmitter. In premium cars, the audio system may be made by well-known brands and be of high quality.

Drivers who want good Hi-Fi generally install third-party speakers with larger cones, better output, or both. A subwoofer is frequently added to a system to boost the bass. It can be installed in various places in the car, including the trunk, under the driver’s seat, or even in the back seat.

If your car doesn’t have a speaker system, it doesn’t work well, or you don’t like the sound, you can install a new speaker system or utilize standalone speakers connected to your car’s head unit.

Listen to Music From Players and Smartphones

If you have a head unit with a USB port/SD Card slot, you can listen to your favorite music from a flash drive/SDCard. Simply insert it into the relevant slot, configure the playback and equalizer settings (if applicable), and enjoy several hours of high-quality music. Check what file formats preserve most of the sound in digital coding.

A CD player is another way to listen to rich audio without the compression effect. However, CDs are not the most convenient type of music storage, as they usually allow you to listen to no more than 40 minutes and require attention when handling (the disc can get scratched when replaced and must be stored in a CD sleeve/holder).

An MP3 player can be another source but for digital music. If you’re going to use this gadget to listen to music, check to see if an interface and a charger are compatible with your car (if you want to use the car system for the output).

The same is true with a smartphone. However, when using a smartphone to connect to the car’s head unit, you usually have more alternatives (through USB, AUX, Bluetooth). At the same time, taking calls or using the smartphone as a GPS tracker will cause occasional interruptions in the audio output.

Turn On the Radio

Radio is probably the only way to listen to an analog signal. The radio broadcast, however, can be interrupted on the road where the coverage is insufficient. Therefore, it is best not to rely solely on the radio during a long trip but to prepare another source to replace it when the signal fails.

Ways to Connect Your Audio Source

USB Port

The USB port is the optimal connection type for listening to digital audio in your car. It is compatible with most audio transmitters and allows you to listen to uncompressed audio.

AUX Port

The AUX port also has a wide range of compatible devices (including MP3 players and smartphones). Besides, it can be used to hook up headphones to your car’s head unit. AUX cables, on the other hand, do not transmit the full richness of the sound recorded in the demanding audio codecs (like WAV, FLAC, or AIFF). Nevertheless, if you’re not an audiophile who discerns every tiny detail in the audio stream, an AUX connection may suffice.

Options where the car unit is a direct player for a specific source (a built-in CD player, an MP3 player, or radio) usually provide the clearest and most powerful sound. This is achieved through the shortest possible path from the source to the speakers.

Bluetooth

Bluetooth is widely used for music transmission. Many modern cars include a BT receiver that allows you to play a list of songs stored on your device. You can also stream the music from apps like Spotify or iTunes. However, the quality of sound will depend on the protocol supported by your car’s head unit and your source.

The Importance of Music and Art in Daily Life

We encounter works of art all the time in our daily lives. The products of creative activity allow a person to experience emotions, to be penetrated by the feelings of the author. Visiting theaters, exhibitions, museums, we believe that we can get acquainted with the world that is available to the artist, learn to notice and understand things around us that we have not seen before, as well as find ourselves, our ideas and thoughts in works of art, thereby becoming involved in art. So today I’m going to tell you how music and art affect us in our lives.

The Role of Music in Human Life

Music is an integral part of human life; it is part of the human soul. Music has a strong influence on the emotional sphere and the moral world of a person. What is music to a person? It is like the air and warmth of the sun for our ears and soul. It makes us better, inspires and inspires, gives unforgettable feelings. It is through music that a person can relax, rest, get some food for the mind. This kind of art can fundamentally change the mood of a person – to cheer him up, to sadden him, to feel sadness. Music is a source of all kinds of emotions and feelings.

We are surrounded by all kinds of sounds: the noise of trees, the buzzing of bees, the roar of thunder, city noise, the voices of people and animals. And of course, music! Every day most of us listen to different music, which, one way or another, we meet somewhere, whether we want to or not – in the car, bus, supermarket, cinema, in the street – everywhere we go, we are accompanied by the sounds of music. Hardly anyone thinks about the enormous influence music has on our inner world, on our behavior and on our health.

What Is Music?

Music is the art form through which we can convey our moods and feelings, which inspires us to empathize, and which shapes our desire to change the world around us. Music accompanies people throughout their lives. The basic elements and expressive means of music are: melody, rhythm, tempo, dynamics, timbre, harmony, and others.

Music can be defined in different ways, depending on what is taken as the basis. Here is what music is, a scientific-style definition: an art form in which artistic images are conveyed through a particular organization of sounds and silence. This definition may vary, but at the heart of music will always be sound. Music is also called the language of sounds. We can look at the definition of music from the emotional side: music is a medium or a way of communicating emotions and feelings.

Music is a wonderful gift given to mankind. Ask different people what music means to them and you will get different answers. Music can be a means of enjoyment, a way to express oneself, a hobby (when one composes oneself), a life’s work (when one is very passionate about music), etc. When a person hears a melody, he imagines pictures that are only known to him, but meanwhile music affects everyone in the same way, regardless of whether it is classical or any other. It not only makes us feel, it even makes us express these feelings and share our thoughts about what we have heard with others.

Areas of Music

The most complex area of music is classical music. The word “classical” implies that the work contains serious content, addressing eternal issues of human existence. At the heart of classical works are the same moral, religious, and philosophical problems as in the works of artists and writers. Music makes it possible to realize problems not only with the mind but also with the heart, as if to feel them from within, not only to reflect but also to empathize. When we hear the phrase “classical music”, we recall the names of famous composers – the classics.

Classical Music

Classical music is designed for a person who is deeply thoughtful, in tune with the serious. This music excites the human heart and soul, touches the heart, makes you think about love, friendship, life, beauty, and eternity. Classical music is very complex in its content. Most of the classical composers we know have gone through many hardships in their lives. The work of many in their lifetime was not recognized and appreciated.

Art in Our Lives

Art is a reflection of creativity, a way of capturing, hobby, reproducing thoughts, fantasies and reality, requiring a special skill. Art occupies one of the leading positions in human life. It is one of the main ways of manifesting oneself, it shapes the inner world of a person, his spiritual values, fills his life. It is a way to describe and express emotions, feelings, to motivate to action and development.

Art is the soul of humanity and has been around since ancient times, when people expressed themselves in cave paintings. Almost everyone knows since childhood the beautiful classical works of Tchaikovsky, Mozart, Bach, paintings by the unsurpassed Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, authors of literary works, as well as monuments of architecture and sculpture. The feelings that one tries to convey to the world are embedded in art.

The Psychology of Art

The various activities that psychology deals with also include art. Art psychology looks at how the creation and perception of works of art affects human performance. It examines the motives that motivate to create, the process itself, the author’s abilities, his feelings and experiences at the time of creating a work of art. The creators transferred their life problems to music, works of art, on canvas, equated themselves to the characters they created. In art, the formation of the personality of the author himself takes place, which is traced in psychology. Also studied and analyzed how the impact of certain works makes a different impression on people, causes different emotions.

Art is one of the most important stages in the development of society that we can see now. It gives people the opportunity to observe the world from different points of view and to look at familiar things from a different perspective, to understand how people saw the world many centuries ago, as a child or a person of a culture different from ours sees it, to experience the emotions that the author put into his work.

That’s It!

In familiarity with works of art, one develops an aesthetic taste, giving rise to the ability to subjectively evaluate events and phenomena on the basis of one’s own feelings and worldview, aesthetic and ethical views. For example, you can draw miniatures, which is also art. And you can look at paints for drawings here https://yourdiorama.com/best-paints-for-miniatures/. Only on this site, you will find all the detailed information and descriptions of all kinds of paints. This is why music and the arts are so important in our lives! I hope you found this article useful!

Mumdance Presents: Cerebral Ballzy — The Griptape Vol 2

This iconic digital mixtape features both your favorite hits and cool remixes. If you are a fan of hardcore and punk rock, you will definitely enjoy the music. It includes a joint work of two parties — Mumdance and Cerebral Ballzy, so let’s learn more about each.

All You Need to Know About Mumdance

Mumdance is an artist known for his passion and staying true to his purpose. Here’s what his music is all about and the factors that had an influence on it over the years.

Music Style

The music by Mumdance (real name: Jack Adams) can be defined as a mix of dizzying tunes and street beats — something in-between grime, dubstep, electro, and garage. Adams himself says that these are just strange sounds that many listeners may not find very attractive. But you must admit that there is something beautiful about this music, although it is rather confusing to dance to.

Jack Adams bravely destroys stereotypes. His DJing breaks genre boundaries, and each new project becomes another hit created thanks to the unrestrained potential of electronic music.

Mumdance Biography

Since childhood, the popular producer and DJ has been impressed by energetic metal music, which his father was also fond of. As a teenager, he was interested in jungle and breakbeat hardcore. At the age of 13, Adams saved some money to buy a real DJ mixer with a set of decks. Then he received a great experience of working in a music store, meeting important people in the music industry. As a result, Jack Adams felt that producing music was something he wanted to do.

His first project was called Fallout. Jack got the opportunity to work in a professional studio and became interested in early grime and dark garage. Then he had a job in the London Vice Magazine, where the young manager arranged numerous grime events. There he met Jammer and made a bootleg for him, as a result of which he became a member of several remix projects for Gucci Mane and Santigold.

Over some time, Jack Adams got bored with touring and having parties and started working on getting the equipment for his own studio. Just two years later, he presented his own mixtape album Twists & Turns. Over the following years, Adam’s musical career was associated with such labels as Mad Decent, No Hats No Hoods, Tectonic, Keysound, Rinse, and XL Recordings, and such musicians as Logos, Pinch, Novelist, and Riko.

Who Is Cerebral Ballzy

Cerebral Ballzy consists of five Brooklyn skaters with hardcore punk nostalgia. Under the influence of Black Flag, Dead Boys, and Bad Brains, the musicians started collaborating to create a new modern version of the 80s speed metal. They quite succeeded in this adventure, and six months after the start of their work, in 2011, the team received their first contract with Vice Records. With the release of their debut album, Cerebral Ballzy started spreading classic hardcore on a tour around the US.

The band has been invited to different European festivals such as Pukklepop, Roskilde, Reading, and Leeds.

The Most Popular Collaboration — Griptape Vol 2

How to Help Your Child Develop a Taste for Classical Music

Recently, discussions about the need for music lessons in kindergartens and schools have not subsided. Many parents say that no one listens to classical music any more and that the ability to understand melodies and sing is hardly ever useful to children. However, children themselves, on the contrary, are very fond of music lessons and enjoy listening to classical composers. This happens because absolutely all children subconsciously feel the benefits of music for their body, soul, and mind.

Meanwhile, the benefits of classical music as a tool for the development of the child are also absolutely undeniable. It not only improves the sense of hearing but also contributes to the more successful acquisition of languages (both native and foreign), the development of spatial and logical thinking. Many great scientists have claimed that it was the practice of music in childhood that sharpened their intellect, and the great Albert Einstein considered music to be as useful for the mind as mathematics. And today I’m going to tell you how to instill in your child a taste for classical music. Let’s go!

At What Age Can You Start Taking Your Children to The Classics?

It’s better to start as early as in utero the development of the fetus. One of the most important things I do in my life is to create a double CD with music recordings and commentary. It has everything scheduled by weeks and months, which relates to the stages of fetal development and the changes in the mother’s condition as that development progresses. For example, I suggest listening to the music of the greatest musical architect of the Baroque period, Arcangelo Corelli, when the fetus is developing its vestibular apparatus. And the music of Beethoven in the period of establishing personal contact between the mother and the child for the mother and through her child to deeply understand the Apollonian and Dionysian, i.e. the harmony between mind and emotion, between thought and feeling. The music of Haydn I suggested is the strongest antidepressant, recorded Vivaldi creates a feeling of warmth and light, and the music of Mozart is better suited to the last months of pregnancy when a decision must be made for the baby to enter the world of Mozart, not of cruelty and aggression.

Also, the first sounds of Baroque and Viennese classical music can be heard softly during feeding, falling asleep, swaddling, and then the baby’s first steps. And when the child turns three, it is very good to organize “Mozart’s 10 minutes” in the evening and make it a daily nightly ritual. The greatest effect is achieved when mom, dad, and child sitting side by side and listen to music by Mozart (or Baroque composers) in semi-darkness (by candlelight or floor lamp). Romantic and later composers (except for some works by Claude Debussy) are better left out so as not to overstimulate the child’s perceptual system.) The exception is Tchaikovsky’s “Children’s Album”. It is desirable to take your child to concerts of music that was already being played at home. Then the child will have the joy of learning the music and the added effect of listening to familiar and beloved music with other people.

Music Education

A child’s musical education is an integral part of the educational process in general. It is not just about developing a musical ear. Music influences the development of a child’s emotional sphere and helps to instill in him or her a good taste and a sense of beauty. A special role in the musical education of children belongs to classical music. Classical melodies are distinguished by harmony, the nobility of intonation, and the richness of tones. Of course, classical music for children is more difficult than modern music, because the clear rhythm and dynamics of modern melodies are much easier to grasp than the refined complexity of classical works. Classical music should be taught to listen and should be taught to understand. And this should start from a very young age.

  1. Children under the age of three may not yet be able to perceive the melody clearly, but they already know the differences in sounds. Therefore, even at this age, you can let your child listen to melodic songs. Music should be chosen according to the time of day. During the day, when the child is active, you can put Mozart’s rhythmic compositions, Bach’s “Joke”. And before going to bed – slow, relaxing melodies: Glinka nocturnes, Beethoven’s “Moonlight Sonata”, excerpts from the suite “Per Gynt” by Grieg. At this age, it’s best not to let your child listen to sad, disturbing minor tunes.
  1. At the age of four, you need to devote more time to listening to music. The child is already able to learn to listen to music sensibly, to catch the rhythm, tempo, to highlight the individual instruments in sound. At this stage, you can already explain to the child what “major” and “minor” are, and illustrate with examples. For a minor piece, say, Schumann’s “First Loss” and Rachmaninov’s “Italian Polka” as a major piece will do.
  1. At the age of 5 or 6, you can expand the musical repertoire for your child to listen to. At this age, classical music for children should be varied. Try to choose music that corresponds to the emotional mood of the child. At this age, you can already try to start music therapy, correcting the child’s emotional state with classical music if necessary.

Is It Better to Take the Kids to Regular Symphony Concerts or Opera/Ballet?

This is very individual. The main thing is to prepare to attend, and now everyone has the opportunity to do so. As for the opera, it’s better to discuss the libretto in detail before going. The child should know that unlike a movie or theatrical performance, opera requires prior knowledge of the plot.

That’s It!

To summarize, I would like to say that the basic question of a child’s attitude toward the classics is most often and most effectively solved in the family. And second, no less important: classical music is necessary not only to fill the leisure time (there are many other activities). Its necessity for the formation of personality has long been proven. Classical music brings both lobes of the brain into balance, helps thinking in the exact sciences, forms a panoramic consciousness and thinking, and has a therapeutic function.
